Section Four: Feet, Legs and Kick Exercises
For any dancer, no matter which dance form or style of technique you are working within, strong feet and legs that are powerful and flexible are what carry us through a dance class and/or dance performance.
Utilising all needed to get fit and strong legs, this exercise section, works on the lower body and stamina. Working from the feet up through the ankles, calves, thighs, balance and core. The exercises will strengthen, tone and lengthen the muscles of the legs through control of movement and flow, to develop flexibility, power and definition.
In turn, the exercises place attention on our physical and technical development, by working on and attaining core strength, balance and alignment through the upper body.
